One Night in Rome: And the End of Life as I Knew It ReviewThis is portrayed in the product description as a story about a romance in Rome while the author is there on a solo trip.
To get to the romance, we have to read way too much information about the author's family. Her trip to Italy is actually mostly in the company of her (half?) sister. She meets the guy very late in the book. The product description was right about Rome, though the relationship soon moves to Calabria.
Probably it's unfair to hold the author responsible for the inaccuracies of the product description.
The author is accountable for the genre. This book would have worked better as an account of the funny misadventures of an American tourist in Rome.One Night in Rome: And the End of Life as I Knew It Overview
